The cover story of The Oro Valley Voice in November is about IMPACT and how you can help through donating, partnering, and volunteering. Click the link to read it.
IMPACT of Southern Arizona and SaddleBrooke Community Outreach co-own the Golden Goose Thrift Shop. Each organization elects half the Members of the Board of Directors, and appoints a Member Representative. All
proceeds are divided equally among the two organizations, funding many
beneficial community programs to help people living in Southern AZ.
A special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the Golden Goose, for all they do!
And
for those of you who take home wonderful treasures from the Golden
Goose each day, thank you for supporting our favorite Shop for a Cause
opportunity!
Wednesdays are now FAMILY NIGHTS (from 4-8pm) benefiting IMPACT of Southern Arizona at Catalina Craft Pizza. Children 8th grade and younger eat and drink
from the Kid’s Menu free of charge on every Wednesday
at this family-friendly restaurant.
The owners of Catalina Craft Pizza, “CCP” recognize that many families
in their community struggle to put food on the table each day and they
want to ensure that kids eat a full dinner at least one night a week!
This Eagle Scout construction project was completed by Caleb Kinghorn, earlier this year and donor names will be applied to the wall later this year. Nameplates begin at $500 and 2016 donations begin the legacy!

MAKE AN IMPACT IN YOUR COMMUNITY Consider splitting your $800 tax credit gift to IMPACT this year: $500 by June 30th, as we wrap up our current fiscal year, which will help fund our summer programming; and the remaining $300 by December 31. A substantial gift will qualify you for our donor wall.
When you give to IMPACT you can feel good about donating to an organization that is fiscally responsible. Last year we had a perfect audit. With only 3%of the budget used to cover administrative expenses, your donations go directly to IMPACT programs. This is largely due to our wide variety of community partnerships. Our 240 plus amazing and dedicated volunteers give generously of their time each week, allowing us to keep our overhead low and our team of hardworking staff small. However, having a small staff and low administrative costs has not hindered our ability to IMPACT people in a big way.
IMPACT of Southern Arizona is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, Marana Chamber of Commerce, The Alliance of Arizona Non-Profits, and an agency of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and Pima Council On Aging. The State of Arizona recognizes IMPACT of Southern Arizona as an organization that helps struggling individuals and families, allowing donors to use their contributions as a tax credit. In 2012 IMPACT of Southern Arizona was named Non-Profit of the Year by the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce and nominated/recognized again in 2014 and 2015.
